Pro Bono:
The term Pro Bono means “for the public good”. It is often mentioned as Pro Bono Pacis, which means “for the sake of peace” and Pro Bono Publico, meaning “for the public good”. In legal practice, public service rendered to citizens or organizations with scarce resources is a part of each and every lawyer´s personal responsibility towards the community.
Therefore, in the scope of its Pro Bono working program, CSBA has been working free of charge with institutions that play a significant role in Portugal in the fields of culture, science, environment or social solidarity, taking part in corporate charity deeds, cooperating in the development of projects and providing legal services, in which it highlights certain cultrural institutions.
